Every now and again someone may ask about my writing process or my characters. Today I will answer some of these questions:
Which character you wrote were the most like you?
I'm a mix between Angie in my debut novel, Eye on the Ball, who is an artist, and Nicola, or Nicky, in K ind of Blue, due to be released on 9 April. Angie is sometimes scatterbrained, but she is an empathetic person. Nicola is the same. She's the person who will, when life gives her lemons, make tequila! I can relate to both. As Angie, I love to paint. I'm not saying I'm any good at it, but it is relaxing. Nicky is an organiser, and so am I.

Where and when do you normally write?
I write every day. I prefer working on my standalone computer in the loft, between my books and research material. If we are travelling I may use my laptop or tablet and if all else fails, I always have a notebook in my bag. You never know when you get inspiration.
My best writing I do early morning, and can be any time from 03h00 in the morning until about 07h00. Then I work again in the afternoons.

Do you have set hours of writing or do you only put pen to paper when you feel creative?
My days differ. Some days I write about eight hours but other days, when editing, it may be less. I try to write every day, even if it is just a scene.
