I'm Francine Beaton, a romance author currently
calling Pretoria home until the travel bug bites again.
I've published my first romance novel — a
contemporary sports romance called EYE ON THE BALL—in April 2018 after I wrote
my first book in July 2016.
My latest novel, PLAYING BY THE RULES will be the
fourth in the PLAYING FOR GLORY SERIES and my twelfth novel. I love travelling
to faraway places and considers Scotland my second home. When I'm not reading
or writing about love and Happily Ever After, I'm most likely busy painting or
taking photos of everything that catches my eye.
During rugby season, you’ll either find me next to
the pitch or in front of the television, following my favourite teams. It’s
probably easy to figure out why my debut novel, Eye on the Ball, and the
series, Playing for Glory, has rugby as a theme.
I'm not only writing about rugby though. I have two
other series. The books in Taste for Love all have food and drink forming part
of the story. I first published Taste for Coffee in May 2018. The next book in
the series is called Taste for Wine and will be published this year.
I set the Blue Mountain series in and around
Stellenbosch, in the heart of South Africa's wine region. This series is also
published in Afrikaans as Die Blouberg -reeks.
I'm working on two more series. The one is a
Scottish millionaire/billionaire series and the other one is set in a small
town and a game farm in South Africa's bushveld.
Hello Francine from America! Are you still actively writing? I'm starting the 20 day blogging challenge and found your website. Best wishes for your writing!

I won’t participate this year, unfortunately. I have a hectic schedule, not only publishing but also with traveling and assignments and conferences
